Introducing The Riveter Portland

The latest addition to The Riveter family is now open for business.

It’s been a wonderfully hectic few weeks here at The Riveter. First, we opened the doors to our beautiful new location in Denver, and then we launched The Riveter 2020: We Decide, our initiative to engage with the candidates about equity for women in the lead-up to the Presidential election. And now we’re pleased to announce yet another big milestone: The opening of our newest location in a breezy, landmarked building in Buckman, one of our favorite neighborhoods in Portland.

“I’m so excited about our location in the historic Washington High School,” says Tami Wood, general manager of The Riveter Portland. “Our exterior walls are lined with large windows that make the space bright, light and airy, and we have an open floor plan that really lends itself to developing a community inside our walls. That said, we realize that some people want the community but need to be focused with minimal distractions, so we’ve created smaller areas where folks can tuck themselves away and be a little more heads-down. Our furniture feels like what you’d find in your favorite coffee shop or boutique, and plants and artwork from local artists bring color and vibrancy to the space. I feel like we’ve created a warm and inviting place for our members and guests, and look forward to sharing it with Portland’s entrepreneurs, makers, creators, remote workers and future leaders.”

A piece by local artist Camille Shu adorns a wall at The Riveter Portland.

Like all of our locations, The Riveter Portland will offer beautifully-lit conference rooms, fixed and floating desks, and free artisanal coffees and teas—not to mention a welcoming environment that is inclusive to all, and world-class events and programming curated with local interests in mind. We’re thrilled to join the small businesses and cool, creative neighbors that populate this colorful slice of Portland.

We can’t wait to see the partnerships and conversations that come to life in PDX. If you’re local to the area, please stop by to say hello or sign up for our newsletter so we can keep you in the loop about all the amazing events we’ve got on the horizon.
