Megha Desai


Megha Desai is President of the Desai Foundation, a public non-profit organization that aims to elevate health and livelihood of women and children through community programs in the U.S. and India.

Megha currently sits on the advisory boards of several start-ups and non-profits, including NPR’s Generation Listen, TakeTwo Film Academy and TiE NY. She is something of a curator of people, content and experiences. Megha holds a B.A. in Economics from Barnard College of Columbia University. She was selected for and has completed the Executive Program in Social Entrepreneurship at Stanford Business School.   

Megha is a singer with The Cobalt Collective and the Resistance Revival Chorus. They have performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Joe’s Pub and dozens of other incredible music halls with musicians like Philip Glass, Natalie Merchant, Patti Smith, Bon Iver and Angelique Kojo. Raised in Boston, Megha channels her New England upbringing as an avid skier and New England Patriots fan. Megha enjoys cooking, podcasts and her nephews. She is also a contributor to Fast Company, The Huffington Post and Entrepreneur Magazine.
