There was no shortage of high notes at The Riveter’s first annual Summit, which took place November 8-9, 2019 in New York City. Author and legend Abby Wambach kicked off the action with a powerful conversation about gender pay equity with Jessica Bennett of the New York Times and former Salesforce Chief People Officer Cindy Robbins, before ceding the stage to Backstage Capital’s Arlan Hamilton and the inimitable Stacy London. The day’s second keynote speaker was activist and author Lindy West, who delivered a rollicking speech before fielding questions from fans. On Day Two, we were honored to welcome political force Stacey Abrams to the stage. And in between? Countless breakout sessions and tactical workshops geared toward enabling all of the women present to seize their collective power.
