Join us for The Riveter VC Office Hours for Female-Founded Companies on November 12th with Sybilla Masters Fund.
"The Sybilla Masters Fund is raising $100 million to develop a global gender-lens investment fund chartered to source, fund, and support tech-based startups with at least one dominant female founder in a position of strategic and operational control, duly titled and equitably compensated. Among other criteria, we ask, "should this company become wildly successful, how will it affect all genders, not just one?"
Why focus on gender-lens investing? More than a decade of reports from venture capital firms, investment houses, and industry data reports clearly demonstrate that women business leaders consistently return higher ROI to their investors in both the public and private sectors. We expect to return these higher ROIs to our investors who will have the pleasure of "doing well by doing good."
The General Partners are Gillian Muessig, cofounder of Moz, brettapproved, and Outlines Venture Group and Anne Kennedy, global board director and advisor, author, and cofounder of the world's largest consortium of digital marketing companies. Venture Partners include Eileen Foley, Karen Cone, Carlee Price, and Yoko Okana."

ABOUT THE RIVETER VC OFFICE HOURS FOR FEMALE-FOUNDED COMPANIES
The Riveter VC Office Hours for Female-Founded Companies is a dedicated program to bring women in search of funding, and the VC institutions that provide it, face to face. And we’re bringing this to you every single month! We think it’s that important, and so do the men and women in Seattle’s investment community. Investors at Seattle’s venture capital institutions have volunteered to provide guidance on raising capital, pitching, negotiations, pitch deck creation, networking, deal structuring, and more.
Each month, a different investor will be available to meet 1 on 1 or with a company’s founding team. If you’re a woman in business and fundraising is on your horizon, this program is for you.
HOW IT WORKS
VC office hours are scheduled in 30-minute increments. Each business (individual or team) can attend 3 meetings with 3 different VC investors every year.
Do I need to be a woman to sign up?
No, but we ask that your company be female-founded.
Can I bring my full team?
Yes, bring your founding team - we don’t recommend bringing more than four or five.
Can I meet with a VC outside of office hours?
If they’re agreeable, you can schedule follow-up meetings directly with them or their office.
What if I’m not actively pursuing funding… but I’m considering it?
Sign up! VC Office hours are to get advice whether you’re considering pursuing funding or ready to take the leap.
I’m not pursuing funding. Can the VC help me with just my business plan? The office hours are for businesses that are getting ready to raise or are raising. A VC can review your draft business plan with the intention to help you get ready to raise. Remember, you have 30 minutes with this VC, so we recommend using your time wisely. And don’t forget, with a membership at The Riveter you receive access to free workshops to help you grow your business!
